This Month's Terrorist Activities

A total of 3 bomb attacks, and one event of rocket-firing.

Deaths: 13
Injured: 61

No New Years, no Eid, no Ramadan, nothing happy, nor important will ever stop these attacks from coming. Such events only make it more exciting for the terrorists, and absolutely draining and sad for the people.

1. 1st, Bajaur Agency, FATA. Rocket firing by militants at a civil colony; 4 dead; 16 injured.

2. 4th, Dera Ismail Khan, Peshawar. A teenage suicide bomber attacker a group of policemen who were investigating explosives in the town; 7 dead; 28 injured.

Slumdog Millionaire

I've been dying to see this movie since forever now! And finally, I did :D

I love co-productions between countries, sometimes they can be stupid *ahem*Bollywood-Hollywood*ahem*, but tremendously entertaining :D

For SM ... I say really nice movie. It's entertaining, visuals are closer to reality, characters are chosen wisely, and that Pussy Cat Dolls number is just insane! A.R. Rehman is a genius! I think I'll be playing these songs for the whole next year probably!

While I am saying here how the characters are wisely chosen, I am not really head over heels for Freida Paindu .. oh sorry ... Pinto. I don't understand what's the whole commotion about. She really isn't that gorgeous you know! In some pictures she looks good. But then again, even Gauri looks pretty in some! *eeks* She's very average I have to say. True, money doesn't buy class.

His Highness, The Racist

Looks like Price harry is living up to the racist traditions of his royal family, and his countrymen! Calling a hardworking servant of his country a Paki. tch tch tch! So the soldier was Pakistani, and it become alright to randomly call him a Paki. And not stopping there, going as far as calling the soldier's off duty head-gear a raghead! Wow! What is up with the British? The ego has gone too strongly in their heads that their great grandfathers asked our great grandfathers to serve them tea! pfffff.

Now, now. I'm not against the whole of Britain, while living in this country you know. There is a whole bunch of nice people out there as well, but it's too difficult to ignore the damn racism that pops up every now and then. And when it comes from HH himself, it's not very comforting.

One interesting thing I found, which of course shows how certain censorships are so important. Underneath is a picture of Harry acting as a Nazi at a Halloween party. But this picture I got from a German website. Makes sense?
